Ph.D. Candidate: Control Theory & Machine Learning,
Mohammed V University In Rabat
2021 - 2025

As a Ph.D. candidate at Mohammed V University in Rabat, my research focuses on the intersection of Control Theory and Machine Learning. My work explores robust optimal control, viability theory, Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman (HJB) equations, PDE control, and machine learning techniques to develop novel strategies for dynamic decision modeling and optimal control in large-scale systems. By integrating theoretical insights from control theory with data-driven approaches from machine learning, I aim to contribute to the development of efficient and robust algorithms applicable to real-world problems in economics, engineering, and resource management.

Experience
Postdoctoral Researcher
Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), Rabat
2026 - Present

Leading research on a probabilistic predictive maintenance framework combining hidden degradation-state modeling (HMM/HSMM family) with maintenance decision optimization under partial observability (POMDP / stochastic optimal control). The work targets uncertainty-aware health-state inference, calibrated risk estimation, and policy computation to improve long-term cost and reliability on real-world predictive maintenance scenarios.

Scientific Researcher
INSA Rouen Normandie, France
2024 - 2025

Conducted advanced research in optimal control and developed numerical techniques for solving nonlinear problems related to the Hamilton–Jacobi–Bellman (HJB) equation. Collaborated with academic experts and international researchers on interdisciplinary projects, published scientific articles, presented results at international conferences, and actively participated in seminars and workshops on optimal control and numerical methods.

Vacation Professor in Statistics
Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences - Agdal
2022 - 2024

As a teacher for Bachelor's degree students in economics and management, my role involves applying descriptive statistical methods and techniques to present data effectively and provide valuable information. Additionally, I teach students about sampling methods and hypothesis testing, enabling them to understand how to collect unbiased data and analyze it accurately. By imparting this knowledge, I equip students with the necessary skills to make informed decisions based on reliable data analysis.

Vacation Professor in Mathematics and Computing science
Faculty of Sciences
2021 - 2025

As a teacher for students in mathematics and computer science, I have the responsibility of teaching two modules. The first module is Mathematical Analysis, where I cover topics such as functions, numerical sequences, and the development of limits for functions. I also delve into function integrals and their applications. The second module focuses on Numerical Analysis, where I teach algorithms such as Cholesky and Gauss methods that are utilized to solve nonlinear equations. Additionally, I guide students in practical implementation by showcasing how these algorithms can be applied using MATLAB. In this context, I also provide instruction on utilizing MATLAB for functions and function integrals.
